Let us be your starting line, re-fueling station, support center and information source for all your two-wheeled mountain adventures.
Mountain Bike
Since our opening in 2007, Mulberry Gap has been the place to go for mountain bikers in North Georgia. Our property sits in the middle of the most popular sections of Georgia’s Pinhoti Trail System. You can access the Pinhoti and dozens of miles of other acclaimed singletrack from right outside our gates (150+ miles in a 50-mile radius).
Gravel & Road
The gravel roads outside Mulberry Gap have been the training grounds for cyclists from all over the southeast for years. They offer long climbs, fast descents, and breathtaking overlooks. Along lower elevations, you’ll enjoy classic farmland; from old barns, to pasture land speckled with horses and cattle, and mountain views. You’ll pedal past trout filled streams and swimming holes full of fresh mountain water. As you wind your way up the mountain ranges, you’ll ride ridge lines and watch the sun rise and set. There are hundreds of miles of dirt roads to test your strength, endurance, and get away from it all.
Bikepacking
With 7+ established routes accessible right outside of our front gate, Mulberry Gap is the perfect spot to launch your multi-day adventure. Unsupported bikepacking routes are equal parts challenge and reward. While this style of riding doesn’t appeal to everyone, the sport has a hardcore following from those who prefer idle time to be spent on two wheels, exploring vast, empty terrain, and enjoy pushing their physical and mental limits.
Breathtaking overlooks, rushing waterfalls, never-ending climbs and fast descents, technical and flowy singletrack, stunning forest views for miles...you want it? We got it.

SHUTTLE TO TRAILHEADS
Operating under Special Use Permit by the U.S. Forest Service.
Mulberry Gap offers a variety of shuttles to trailheads! We have a strict "no shame in shuttling" policy—save your legs for the downhill, ask for a lift! Your time is limited and we want to help you make the most of it.
Shuttle Schedule: 10am, 12pm, 2pm. Rates are per person. Shuttles themselves have no cost, HOWEVER- The Mulberry Gap Shuttle experience is organized to operate in two parts:
Part 1- The actual shuttle drive to the trailhead of your choice. There is no direct charge for this.
Part 2- Mulberry Gap will provide a brief Trail & Route Orientation at Mulberry Gap, prior to the shuttle drop off. This component has a cost, and the fees for this orientation session vary based on trailhead destination & number of guests.
It is compulsory for participants who will be riding the complimentary shuttle to also be registered for, and pay for, the Trail & Route Orientation. If an individual wishes to register for and pay for the Trail & Route Orientation, but then not participate in the brief orientation, that will be allowed.
Space is limited. Walk-ins are welcome, however, to ensure your seat on the shuttle van, we recommend reserving your spot. Call 706-698-2865 or email reservations@mulberrygap.com.
