Join mulberry gap and the North georgia mountain bike association for a bear creek spring cleaning work day on Sunday MARCH 2, 2025!

Mulberry Gap and the North Georgia Mountain Bike Association are going to partner up to kick off spring trail cleaning on Sunday March 2, 2025!

We'll be working on making sure that Bear Creek Trail system is open and ready to roll, and we need some help to get the area all cleaned and open! It's one of those "many hands make light work" situations!

There is NO COST, of course, but if you'd like to show up at 8:30am for Mulberry Gap Breakfast ($16) you can do that, no problem. 

BONUS 1: We'll be offering a free shuttle up to Bear Creek at 2pm for anyone who would like to get in a group ride post event.

BONUS 2: If you'd like to spend Saturday Night, or the whole weekend, we'd be happy to hook you up with a 15% discount on your cabin or camping reservation!

The Plan:

• 9:45a-10:00a Meet up at Mulberry Gap and grab donuts and coffee

• 10am - Head out with Crew Leads to the Upper and Lower Bear Creek parking lots to work on drains, corridor clearing, tree and branch removal, etc.

• 1:00 Head back to Mulberry Gap where an included to-go Bag Lunch awaits you!

• 2:00 Optional FREE Shuttle Up to Bear Creek!
  
  

What We'll Be Doing:

• Lifting and carrying cut up trees & downed branched

• Clearing eroded and clogged drains

• Cutting back encroaching branches

What to Bring/Wear:

• * Closed toe shoes

• * Long sleeve / long pants

• * Insect Repellant / Sunscreen

• * Water bottle!

• * Work gloves if you'd like to wear those

• * Sunglasses or other eye protection to keep your peepers safe from sun, sticks, and sawdust!
