Coed Ninja MTB Performance Clinic - June 18-20, 2021


Ninjas are coming back to Mulberry Gap again for Father's Day Weekend!

The perfect weekend getaway for Dad OR bring the whole family to play, hike, hot tub and explore while Dad (and kids 15+) ride with us in the heart of the designated “Mountain Bike Capital of Georgia.” This is a MUST ride destination on every mountain biker's bucket list. #justbringyourgear– they will do the rest!

This camp is designed for the enthusiast rider or racer looking to build up and clean up their ‘toolbox’ of mountain bike skills in order to handle a variety of terrain at speed. We blend an in-depth version of our traditional Intermediate / Advanced skills training with coached riding sessions.

IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE REMEMBER THAT REGISTRATION FOR THE CLINIC ITSELF IS THROUGH NINJA MTB PERFORMANCE (LINK BELOW) AND RESERVATIONS FOR CAMPING, CABIN STAYS, DAY USE FEES, AND MEALS ARE DIRECTLY THROUGH MULBERRY GAP. THANKS!

Thursday

—4:45pm- Arrival/Check-in if staying onsite

—6:00pm- Dinner @ Mulberry Gap (optional $20 add on)

(Day 1) Friday

—8:30am- Breakfast @ Mulberry Gap (optional $13 add on)

—9:45am- Meet at The Barn

—10:00am-12:00pm — Clinic Overview, Brief Bike Safety Check / Bike Set-up Review (tire pressure, cockpit set-up, suspension set-up), Morning Skills Session (mind skills, ready position, effective braking, and fluid shifting)

—12:00-1:00pm— Lunch Break @ Mulberry Gap (optional $13 add on)

—1:00pm-3:30pm—Afternoon Skills Session (high speed cornering, climbing, wheel lifts, and how to get out of trouble)

—3:30 Free time! (Official on-bike camp training is done for the day. Use your free time however you’d like: ride, shower, eat, explore.)

—6:00pm Dinner @ Mulberry Gap ((optional $20 add on)

(Day 2) Saturday

—8:30am- Breakfast @ Mulberry Gap (optional $13 add on)

– 9:45am – Meet at The Barn

– 9:00am – 12:00pm – Morning Skills Session: (brief review of Day 1 skills followed by new skills like switchbacks, drops, bunny hops, rock dodge, technical climbs and descents)

—12:00-1:00pm— Lunch Break @ Mulberry Gap (optional $13 add on)

– 1:00pm – 4:00pm – Afternoon Riding Session (practice what you’ve learned out on the trails)

— 4:00 Free time! (Official on-bike camp training is done for the day. Use your free time however you’d like: ride, shower, eat, explore.)

—6:00pm Dinner @ Mulberry Gap (optional $22 add on)

(Day 3) Sunday

—8:30am- Breakfast @ Mulberry Gap (optional $13 add on)

– 9:45am – Arrival at Trail Head

– 9:00am – 12:00pm—Morning skills session (brief review of Day 2 followed by new skills like, track stand/balance, tail whip, dynamic weight shift, intro to jumping, and pumping)

—12:00-1:00pm— Lunch Break @ Mulberry Gap (optional $13 add on)

– 1:00pm – 3:00pm – Afternoon Riding session (Putting it all together with emphasis on efficiency and flow / how to go faster)

—3:00pm-3:30pm—Graduation Ceremony (Review of weekend skills, Q&A session, group photo)

– After 3:30pm official on-bike camp training is done. At this time, you are free to hang around and get in some extra credit riding or pack up and head back home to the real world.

How to Select Your Lodging Option:

Coming solo? You have two options:

Prefer a private space? Select from our Private cabin or campsite options. 

Want to save a few bucks and don’t mind sharing? Select from our Shared cabin or campsite options.

Coming with your friends or spouse? You have two options:

Prefer a private space? Select from our Shared cabin or campsite options, as long as you meet the minimum of that space, we’re happy to offer the discounted shared rate! All you have to do is list the names of everyone in your group and request in the booking that you would prefer NOT to share with other strangers.

Don’t mind sharing with others? Select from our Shared cabin or campsite options

For those lodging off-site:

Weekend Use Fee: $30/per person (required)

For those lodging on-site:

Lodging & Meal plans available through Mulberry Gap. 

Camping: ~ $22/person per night (varies by campsite)

Shared Cabin: ~ $70/person per night (varies by cabin)

Private Cabin: ~ $90/person per night (varies by cabin)

Meals are available for advance purchase for both those staying onsite and offsite:

Breakfasts - $13/person

Lunches - $13/person

Dinners - $20-22/person
