Join mountain bike instructor, Jen Braddock, on the weekend of September 17-18, 2022, for a weekend clinic designed to increase the skills of intermediate/advanced women riders at Mulberry Gap!
About this Clinic:
This two-day clinic will build on the fundamentals of trail riding and focus on maintaining control on unstable terrain. We will explore and experiment with how our bikes, bodies, and the trail work in combination with each other to keep us moving. Understanding and practicing various skill sets help carry us through things such as off-camber lines, technical climbs, fast descents, and corners. We will practice maneuvers that can assist us down small drops or over large obstacles. This weekend is all about refining our technique to help us grow as mountain bikers and feel more confident so we can continue to enjoy our rides!
This NOT for new mountain bikers! All riders are expected to sustain a riding session (stop and go) that will be over 12 miles of national forest trails– this includes steep climbs and descents, technical single track, and gravel roads. All participants are encouraged to bring a hydration pack and any other trail support they may need to be self-sufficient.

Please be sure that your youth rider has the appropriate skills to participate in the clinic as they will not be able to drop behind or opt out of traveling with the group.
These are adult-geared clinics, so it’s important youth participants are ready to be focused, responsible, and ready to participate alongside mature adult learners.
